Kyle Richards Opens Up About Her Decision to Stop Drinking AlcoholThe Beverly Hills native also shared the social pressures of becoming sober. "When you choose to stop drinking on your own, it’s interesting how it’s met with such resistance from your peers," she revealed. "In the beginning, I was like, I’m just going to pretend [I’m drinking]. I would whisper to the waiter, 'I’m going to order a vodka soda, and then just bring me a club soda.' But then a couple of my friends were like, “What are you doing? You drink margaritas.” It just got to the point where I was like, 'Why am I having to pretend at my age?' I think about my daughters and peer pressure, and here I am, feeling like I don’t want to be pressured into this. So I stopped pretending. I was just like, 'Guys, I promise you, I am still going to be fun.'”
The mom of four added she didn't see herself drinking again. "I love the way I feel and look."
